Lovely jacket, but sizes run small

My only disappointment is the sizes run small. I expected size large to be loose on me, but there is a lot of strain on the zipper and it is difficult to close. Order a size larger than you would expect.The quality is great. The leather is smooth as butter and the fake-fur feels like a fuzzy cat. It is much warmer than I expected and I'm fine with that. I like the elastic fabric cuffs and waist, it really keeps the cold air out. But then again, with the size issue the stretch waist makes the coat very snug on me. Hoping I can stretch the elastic a bit so it will be easier to zip shut.All in all, a beautiful leather coat at a great price. Had I known about the sizing I would have ordered an XL.

Absolutely gorgeous coat! Shopped forever to find one like this, and this one was perfect. Runs a tad small, but worth it!

very warm,

VERY well put together, heavy, super warm, runs small though. I've ordered this coat and exchanged it once for a larger size. I am now giving it to my 26 yr old slim daughter as a gift. I'm normally a med in women's and a med to large in Jr's up top and this coat runs VERY VERY small. I can get it zipped up no problem but there is no room to layer. I was pretty impressed by how fast I had to take it off because I quickly overheated. I will be ordering another one for my self in the 3 X-large size as the X-large was a bit too snug for me to envision keeping for long term. I did wear it over the Christmas holiday season to New York and was quite comfortable (temperature wise) I just had to remove it to drive, as it was too confining and too hot. Lets see how my daughter likes it working off shore in Norway. That will be the real test as to temperature comfort. I will try to remember and update this review when she's used it for a while. Apparently the weather can get down to -40 degrees F.
