Weird Design

I purchased this jacket for my wife.When it arrived, I found that it had no liner to speak of, and that limited it's suitability to spring and fall. It is not a "warm" jacket by any stretch.If you look closely at the photo, you can see that the front is made in narrow strips, and this seemed really odd to me. Also, the zipper (when closed) is still plainly visible. Other similar jackets add a fold of leather around the zipper so that, once zipped, you can't see the zipper. With this jacket, the zipper becomes a prominent feature, and is not very attractive.The back is very nice, cut to form nicely to feminine curves.My wife did not like it, though, and so it was returned.I definitely expected more for the price.

This jacket may be real leather, and it may look okay, but it's super thin. I've got another leather jacket by a different maker and the difference in quality is very pronounced. This one feels like it will rip or tear easily, the lining is also very thin, and all in all it feels like a cheap knockoff. It has no weight to it, none of the buttery luxury that one would expect...it's real, I guess, but this is one of those situations where I wish I had shopped for it in a store where I could have tried it on and touched it because I would not have bought it.
